My name is Rachel Wagner, and I am currently in my fifth year of teaching. I grew up right here in Anaconda, and I have loved being able to teach in the same school system that I graduated from. Anaconda has always been home because I am able to do some of my favorite things here; golf, snowboard, walk my dog, and spend time with my family. I received my Elementary Education degree, with a reading endorsement, from Montana State University-Northern in 2014. During my first two years of teaching I also obtained my Master's degree from Concordia University-Portland, in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in reading.
Each day I come to school ready to learn and grow alongside my students. There is always new knowledge to gain and share. We work on reading, writing, grammar, spelling, and language skills in my classroom. My goal is to inspire students to use their language skills in their life, and to help them learn how to become the best they can be!
