I grew up in Montana and after teaching in Las Vegas for 12 years I decided to return. It is wonderful being back with my family. I enjoy traveling, cooking, playing golf, reading and learning new things. I love my job and hope that I inspire kids to enjoy learning as much as I do.
To my students,
I want you to know that I already believe in you and that my classroom is a safe place for you to learn and have new experiences. I want you to know that you can always ask me questions and I look forward to answering them. I want you to know that I will come to school each day prepared to give you new knowledge and I expect you to come to school each day prepared to learn and try your best. THE KEY TO YOUR SUCCESS IS YOU!!!
To my parents,
I love being a teacher and will do everything in my power to make sure that your child receives the best education possible. My personal philosophy of teaching is, " To inspire students to do better than they think they can, show them that knowledge is power and create experiences for them that will build a solid foundation of learning, creativity and respect. To have my students learn to become critical thinkers and to create a classroom where each child is appreciated as an individual and feels honored, valued, safe and challenged."
